Great analysis @EtH but I already knew you knew your Boxing. However, I disagree with you on the less powerful part, I think ur underestimating Canelo Alvarez's power. Son is a beast, he fights at 154lbs, walks around at 170-175lbs. Mayweather is coming UP in weight for this fight, 147lbs to a catch weight 152lbs. I've been an Alvarez fan since he was 18, I KNEW he'd be a star one day. But is he ready? I dunno...

If Floyd tries to put on a show, prove something vs. Canelo early & gets hit with something flush. He could drop. But how often does Mayweather get hit flush? Hardly ever. That's where I think that "Boxer/Puncher" comes into play. Cuz Canelo can jab with Floyd, score points in close/slow rounds. I have a feeling Floyd is gonna show out early, buy himself a few rounds running & do just enough on the outside to get the Win. Alvarez has noooooo chance on the cards. It's KO or bust for the red-headed Mexican, Lol...

I'll tell you this though. I just checked the betting odds I like on that night:

Mayweather: $100 for $65 (las fight was $100 for $32)
Mayweather by KO: $100 for 440
Alvarez: $100 for $550
Alvarez by KO: $100 for $380
DRAW is: $100 for $1600 !!!!

Smart money is on Mayweather by Decision... For daredevils like myself, I might take Alvarez by KO, not for $100 though... I just really like Canelo's repertoire: Jab is solid, his hook are so crisp, he beat Trout (who fight 160 lbs) with a meeeeeean body shot. The most I've seen Mayweather get hit was vs. Cotto. Alvarez is a young, stronger, more skilled Cotto. Btw, Austin Trout beat Cotto while Alvarez made light work of Trout. But those 16 to 1 odds on a DRAW though? That looks tasty. I'm definitely putting atleast $20 on that for shits & giggles.

Garcia vs. Mattesye is gonna be a greeeeeeeat fucking fight too. This might even end up the better fight out of the two because neither of these guys are Running. They r gonna be trading blows in the middle of the ring. Shot for shot. Mattesye has the edge in power, Garcia is the better boxer/crisper puncher. I like Garcia by DECISION... This is gonna be an EPIC PPV card.
