IMO, they probably would in their prime. This tournament is full of up and comers who definitely have the ability and potential to reach that vet status themselves though.
If some of those vets and legends came back now, they would probably struggle to keep up with today's top guys because of rustiness and because of how texting has changed since they were in their prime.
I'm glad someone has a different opinion on the topic though.
