yes more intelligent. even if they were talking about clothes and bitches, they did it with much more skill and in a story..... about 1998 was when hip hop started disappearing and this bullshit we have on the radio came about.... 90% of the shit thats on the radio has no substance to it what so ever, the music back in the day did... no one puts a plot and/or story to their words any more give or take a few emcees.
