I think leaving the Topical Championship as is would be a better idea.
Scheming and all that only gets cool points in the battle arena.
The original rubix was simple enough to follow and vote with as well.
Once the movement gets going, you could add the gimmicks.
Although.. the Collaborative Topical idea is interesting.
