im also in constant pain... its just intensified by things like the ones i mentioned above. im not on bed rest or anything though. on the contrary movement is actually good for me as long as movements that dont hurt me. walking is good.. running or jumping is bad because the impact pushes my disc farther out.
ive had to re-arrange my life in a lot of ways to cope with it. things like training and physical activity are definitely out of the question.. especially the martial arts. i can barely lift my legs a foot off the ground without screaming in pain cus that aggravates my disc. i asked if i could just box a little because thats just an arm movement and theres no weight on my body to stress my back other than the gloves and the dr said no because of the twisting motion... thats also a no-no. so im basically a 90 year old man trapped in a 20 year olds body.. it sucks but what can you do really.. just gotta wait it out till they're willing to do surgery.. and even then the success rate is pretty shitty.
