aight yall..

i noticed that there are really alot of heads that feel like the track section is a truly formidable, if underrated section of the site... which lead me to an idea..

if i put together a track tournament, how many of you would be interested in participating?

the format would be simple...we would have the official brackets, but with one slight change. since we obviously cant post entire tracks as entries...we would have a text format where the entrants would simply post the link to their track.

voters would listen to both tracks and vote in the brackets for who they think won...

we'd have to have some criteria in place obviously...and this is really what this thread is about.

one question that comes to mind is, would we make both entrants use the same beat? how long between rounds to ensure we get good quality songs? etc....

if done right, and we give maybe 10 days between rounds...it could really be a good chance for some members that dont pay too much attention to tracks to get some spoonfed tracks

and it can also get some lesser known track makers some exposure...

thoughts?
