LA's one of the biggest potential sport markets and the Kings just came out of NOWHERE and stomped everybody the fuck out in only 20 games... lmao
They won the championship with a 16-4 postseason record this year and they fucked the shit out of the #1 #2 and #3 seeds in rounds 1, 2 & 3 with a 12-2 win/loss record.... All well barely making the playoffs with an 8th place clinch
I dont see an NHL market that would've financially benefited more then the Kings from a championship win to be real homie. Until this season they were one of the worst clubs in the struggling cali market... and with no stanley cup in 45 years as a franchise, thats one of the craziest droughts in hockey.
They even said "And Kings hockey fans will be coming out of hiding all over California for this one" or some shit right after the win lmao. Thats some shady shit lol. Think about the markets that've been winning lately.... Anaheim Pittsburgh, Chicago, Boston, LA... All of them were struggling markets with a 70's-90's era fanbase that had pretty much given up on their teams... Then each of them miraculously makes a comeback in a matter of years....
But im just gonna keep hoping everythings legit, and that the owners arent about to take advantage of the business opportunities infront of them
