She performed at the Long Beach Gay Pride and supposedly said "I'm proud to be among my people." People took that as her coming out, but now she's saying she didn't mean that to say she's lesbian. Anyways, while she's defending herself to say that her doing the Gay Pride concert doesn't mean she's gay...she's revealing that she once HUNG OUT AT A GAY CLUB WITH TUPAC!!!
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she says “To me, doing a gay pride show is one of the most fun things. My first show that paid more than $10,000 was in a gay club on New Year's Eve in San Francisco. Tupac happened to be in town, so he came to kick it with me. This was the early '90s. And the boys were like, ‘Take your shirt off, Tupac!' He wasn't doing that. But we had a blast in there.” Tupac is one of my Hip-Hop heroes, but I wouldn't have thought he'd be hanging out at a gay club. What do you guys make of this?
