Most people couldn't be bothered with a warm up and just waited till September so you end up with a weak tournament and a year and a half wait till the next one comes around

thats the thing, it WAS announced as an offical one. Mayneak co-signed that in the pm Verity posted.
Shes topical mod and entitled to a offical tourney once a year. Its up to her how she wanna do it surely.
