Not at all, what I'm saying is that there are a million and one other concepts out there, gunplay doesn't have to be rehashed at every oppertunity. I agree it can be executed well at times, but it's overused and - for me at least - it causes me to get a little bored.

It's just a little discussion reEFer, something to stimulate the mind etc. All I'm saying is try something new once in a while (not directed at you personally).
