Hip-Hop is the adjective
Rap is more of a verb.
Hip-Hop in general is a multi-faceted community. I think that show is only telling one account of what it is.

Weather or not its foolishness is up to the watcher/listener.

Hip-Hop itself to me is underground by nature..
..a lot of the TRUE HIP HOP that 90% of the population hasn't been exposed to isn't/will never be seen.

A lot of artists who have made a commercial impact or seen some exposure via the media are only representing what I know as hip hop as a figurehead. It's in the art or pervasion of the art that personifies the essence of hip hop.

That show.. for what it's worth is just one dimensional. Again, Hip-Hop is something emanated from those who immerse themselves in it. Rapping is just one of many actions associated with the community. There. Omit all above comments

Why you mad?

Oh, and "power phrasing" imma keep, its dope. that is the term paraphrasing?
