there are plenty of contradictions in the bible. i'm not going to list them here, you can google around and find extensive lists.
We'll just go over a few basic idiocies of christianity. Like, the fact that every word is inspired. You know, even the ones taken from different texts and placed into different translations. Yep.
The fact that christians can't even decide what should or shouldn't go in the bible. You know, because god wants you to hear his word, just not to know which parts of the bible really contain it.
I could go on, but it's idiotic.

when you try to bring science into religion, then yes - you get ppl like this...
first of all - if you know about the bible, then you know its a collection of stories of how people interpreted their time - whether that be on this earth, or with jesus...its nothing more than someones recognition of what went on
now i ask you, how is that any different from our world history?
when i look at an apple, i may see something completely different than what you see...ya its an apple, but i may be hungry at the time - so i see the apple as food - you could be full and looking at the same apple...you know where im going
history is the same...stories passed down from someone's perspective that could be 100% different if someone different was asked......as a member of that faith, you are asked to believe the stories that get passed down, no matter how rediculous, because thats the epitome of faith
