As for BIG being overrated...what an insult. No one was fucking with BIG when BIG was in his prime, and that was the golden age of hip hop. If Em came out when BIG was out, he'd be a nothing. Not to knock Em, but cats couldnt keep up with BIG when it came to this rap shit. And his storytelling, flow, and general presence on the mic will never be duplicated. No other spot but #1 in my book.

As for the knock of longevity for BIG...seems like a bit of a harsh way to go since he was taken from us so abruptly, but still a valid argument
