DEFINITELY find your own style and master Flow first. Punches will come to you do dont worry. But mastering how your verse is flowed in a text box is an art itself.
To me, flow consists of running the right amount of syllables each line, making your multis fit into those syllables while keeping them relevant to your concept, and making sure voters read your verse exactly how you want them to.
Ideally, if you outflow your opponent, you probably already got him beat so if you can master that and insert sweet creative punchlines, you're legendary b.

I completely agree with this, and getting my flow right is one of my main challenges at the moment, but I think flow needs more than just syllables to work right. Because it's a text verse you're relying on the person to read it smoothly, which means you also need to have a logical flow for them to follow. What I mean by that is that they shouldn't be stopping feeling confused or distracted by what you're saying, until the punchline hits and they stop with the impact of it. That means your vocabulary and turn of phrase has to be words people commonly use and understand; your setups have to be believable and the things you're saying have to make sense.
I think rhythmic flow and logical flow tend to go hand in hand, and together they're what constitute "execution". Not disagreeing with what Punk said, just adding to it.
