The public site can’t get the same screenshots that the staff got? I feel like that alone will keep members 1000x before leaving after reading a thread like this. That’s a defence but no. There’s only words being thrown at the basic members, not evidence. People will leave. People have left. While you’re working on the new site, give them a reason to stay, not “we’re working on updates, stay active” because we hear that every year.

You're suggesting we believe X is working on a new site right? (Which you've seen) and your response of not seeing him active these past couple weeks, is you think we should jump ship?
I don't know about you but I don't blindly believe people based on what they've said but rather their actions, such as taking back ownership, squashing bugs, seasonal tournaments, blind drops, fixing track section & old battles, etc. then on top of that, he drops a preview to the staff at the end of the October last year and we've gotten steady updates since then, last one was mid-March, so it's not like we're completely out of the loop.
Like I said in my previous post, I'm not saying there hasn't been problems and while I'll concede that in the past the Staff, including myself, have said such statements as "updates are coming, hold on" etc. in the past, they were mostly false promises and we didn't know the status of an update, we kept hoping like everyone else but like everyone else, we've now seen the changes that X as done and don't hold back any information that we get, I'm sure a lot of people can vouch for that.
As far as posting the screenshots or beta site link, X asked us not to post it outside the staff lounge so we haven't, it's not an issue of us wanting to withhold anything from the site members, I'd say we're a lot more transparent about site issues then ever before, because we're also members of this site and know it's become a real niche artform these days but we're still here, dropping bars and talking shit #ComebackSeasonLB2019
