The mindset of "there's stuff to do so do it" and blaming inactivity on users just being inactive isn't it. That's what's kept the site how it is.

Competition drives this website—without big consistent note-worthy competition there isn't as much passion. You consistently need new talent coming through and shaking it up, not the same old heads hitting each other and their multies over and over. There's simply too few active vets now-a-days to sustain that spirit of competition. & It shows.

Ya'll really underestimate aesthetic too because you're all probably older but 14 to 20 year olds today won't give this site more than a few minutes. LB needs a responsive simple and clean layout that's on a more accessible and marketed platform (like going mobile and paid advertising on big battle channels). Even Reddit DOUBLED in size when they recently launched their mobile app. Then get a consistent simple organization of monthly/annual tournaments and maybe even weekly topicals/cyphers/etc.

People have lives. This site needs young talent to cycle through, it can't survive on the same people. New people aren't going to come to a graveyard that looks like a graveyard. LB is living in 2003. This shit could fly with old heads up until now—but today it doesn't cut it for the youth.
