Ironically I thought about this expression today, and how absolute bollocks it is.

I think how bollocks it is has a lot to do with context, right? Sure, if a trained MMA fighter touts how badass he is, he's probably telling the truth. If some dude with scene hair, and a long list of emo likes on facebook says it? I'm a lot less inclined to believe them.
