Lol, you're talking about Catch Me If You Can (Frank Abagnale). If you read the book he ended up in a French prison for a few years back when French prisons were locking you in a room with no light that you can't stand up in with nothing but a bucket and the occasional slice of bread.
He did eventually end up with a job at the CIA though advising on scams and fraud. Great book and the film with Tom Hanks is decent too.
