• Might get people thinking - Who though? I don't think this track was to get black people thinking. It was the reverse. It seems like the white guy's telling black people whats wrong with them. And no one likes being chastised. It actually closes people down and makes them less likely to except what you're telling them. The black perspective seems like it's more sympathetic and asking for understanding. To me anyways.
• This mentality "pull yourself up" is well known to black people too. It's the Cosby Argument. and there's a lot of black people who agree but they're more center or on the right. The entire logic is talked about and debated on frequently by black people. A lot on the new left, "black Twitter" and all that would call it coonery and don't want to hear it. I don't blame them.
• To get people on the left to listen you have to find common ground not insult them.

Don't get me wrong, I think the tracks good. Was just critiqing critiques.
