But side note, I stopped using that explanation because none of us use it correctly. Part of Occam's Razor. It's not as much about "the most simple is probably true" and more about "The one with the least assumption is probably true". Do the lack of first hand evidence, we're assuming just as much by assuming that someone isn't falsifying media, news and evidence for their own benefits.
