I don't know about that. I think a large part of it is that people come here with no foundation, but they fancy themselves a rapper, or a writer. When they get here and drop a battle, if its ass, they lose, they get told its add, they get discouraged, they leave.

That's not on us. It's on them. When I came here and dropped my first battle, it wasn't good, but It showed promise. I was told so, and I stayed and got better.

Is it possible for us to coddle newcomers to spare their feelings and keep them around? Probably. Is it realistic? I don't know.

Even more so, id that helpful? You can't give a shit verse 2 thumbs up and expect them to change. And if they dont they won't last anyway.

The real answer is probably advertising, but thats another thread altogether.
