So tomorrow, I will be changing my brake pads and roters by myself for the first time.

I will also be changing my own oil for the first time lol. I heard it's somewhat easy to do. I'm 23 years old and I'm finally starting to learn this shit. I use to pay $60 for an oil change at Valvoline. I was getting robbed so I bought all the tools today. Pan, hand soap, towels, and funnel all for $5.And tomorrow I'm picking up the filter wrench, and other tools for my brakes such as the pads and roters, and the 4-way socket bar.

Some guy came into work saying he spent over 1200 trying to fix his damn car.. New battery, altinator, starter, etc.. I told him to check and see if it's in security lock.. (your shit can shut down if that security lock is triggered. Happened to me while trying to put a radio in.) it was indeed the lock that was preventing his car from starting.

Anyone else mess with cars on their own instead of taking it to shops?
