I read up a bit on nootropics. Most of it's bullshit, I think, but there's a fair bit of data behind vinpocetine and Bacopa monnieri. If you've got the money, modafinil and armodafinil are more or less legal (judging by this post, you probably don't care about that -
so get some here) and have a bunch of studies to support their efficacy. Either way, they aren't going to turn you into a genius by themselves, but they can give you an edge.
Although I haven't tried it, if you want great results, I highly recommend meditation. Google "tulpas" if you want to have some real fun and aren't afraid to take some small risks.
To answer your question: I take daily multivitamins. Does that count?
