I think that there's definitely merit to what @Witnezz is saying here. At the moment the 'VP' system is in place to try and counteract people who are not voting 'fairly' or 'correctly'. However, there seems to be relatively little resources available on what a 'fair' or 'correct' vote should encompass.

By my understanding, VP is adjusted manually (correct me if I'm wrong here) and with no indication given to the account or any other user. This means that some people with reduced or zero vote power will be entirely unaware that that's the case or that they are considered to be a 'bad voter'.

This is flawed (to me) on two fronts. Firstly, they have no impact on the ratio of votes but do play a role in the outcome of a battle. It appears that 3 votes are required before a battle will close, and currently it is relatively common to see a battler win 2-1 on votes but lose by 100%. If this system was implemented to allow battlers to continue to earn credits without affecting the outcomes of battles, then battles should be closed once a minimum count of VP has been reached rather than when a certain number of votes have been cast.

Secondly, if battlers aren't aware of their VP how are they supposed to know if they are voting correctly (if this is shown somewhere then I accept I'm an idiot, but feel it should be displayed more prominently)? It would seem to make sense to me that if a voters VP is being adjusted down, then they should be informed and directed towards guides/material to help them adjust their voting process. If no improvement is made... Then they get relegated again, and so on.

This has largely been written up on the basis of a few snippets and large quantities of guess work. If it's utter bollocks then I apologize!

TL; DR - Give people more resources on how to vote properly, and close battles after cumulative VP reaches a certain point, rather than when a certain number of votes have been cast.
