Default how to get newbies to stay ..

ok , i had this idea months ago but nothing was done , so here we go again with the sane idea but with improvements . problem is , newbies join , and either find the site too complicated OR do a couple of battles and get sniped by more experienced mambers and leave or dont battle anymore as the disheartened . so here is my solution .

1 . every new member gets a wecome e-mail , but with the addtition of sections on how to vote , how credits work , and hints on how to battle . maybe give them 10 free credits so they can see how voting works , and let them vote on other newbie battles.

2 . change the unranked arena to a newbie league . they would have to do 10-20 battles to progerss to the basic league UNLESS they show they have some skill , or mods could check battles and promote those with with talent OR newbies that may be alts of existing , more experienced members .

3. hold a newbie tourny every 3 months or so - would give genuine newbies a chance of a title similar to roty , but held more often so would give them something to aim for .

4 . get mods/experienced battlers to vote on their battles and give them positive advice , along with where they can improve . some voters just basically say ''your shit'' which is no way to get people to stay as i discourages them from doing more battles if all they they get is negative comments all the time .
