All those rappers were known for being great writers tho bro and I think. What hes saying is you can sound however you want if you cant write at a certain level of complexity(specially in battles) you wont get the w because thats what a battle is about to a degree.. delivery is veryvery important along with the writing side. If you dont have both you won't be great period .
