& Before you counter my watered down version remark, why did TLOU receive tons of acclaim and awards? Now THAT's a story mode. you seem to be a TWD fan so you're attaching yourself to the game based on preconceived notions of how shit'll play out or the emotional ties you created for characters in the TV show.

TLoU probably blows TWD out of the water, so much so that I haven't even heard of TWD video game until now. I'm usually not someone that believes the hype, but I've played enough of TLoU to be on board. & Judging from what you're saying about it I'm further than you. Trust me, it gets a lot more fun.

You'll be dying left and right too, so I hope you're up 4 a challenge

i'll check out TWD
The Walking Dead game was out a year before The Last of Us, and won more awards and acclaim with a fraction of the budget. You haven't heard of it because as you said, you weren't as big into gaming for a while. But The Walking Dead game smashed everyone in 2012 and is well known in the gaming community.

It's "indy" graphics are a result of Telltale being an indy company at the time of creating it. Since then, Walking Dead have signed deals to release a Borderlands games and the official Game of Thrones game, so their company was single handedly revolutionized by the TWD game.

I DID originally find TLAU really hard actually, but the second time I played it I found it a helluva lot easier. As I said maybe it does get gripping as a story, but I don't enjoy any of the gameplay and I need to play through loads to actually get to any 'gripping' part. I know the character is supposed to transform, but the protagonist just seems boring (Before he takes all the 'punishment') and she seems like an annoying bratty bitch.
