Question No showing important battles.

It's no surprise that I, and others make a bit of a habit of no-showing battles. My question, then, is this:

Should there be implementation of a punishment for serial no-showing? Of course, I don't mean large scale punishments like serious infractions, or bans.(Unless the no-show were an issue in a sponsored tournament, or a collaborative tournament with other sites, etc.) But, for instance, if a person would be to no-show the LBT, LBA, or LBV in excess of, perhaps, twice, there could be an exclusion from the event for a set number of months. What do you guys think about this?
