Yeah it is haha... but it's really worth it though. Also position your hands at different angles to maximize the best for yourself. Also the "diamond" or as we called it the "ranger" push up, they're madness lol. Kinda like the diamond one but your lower back is raised so that your body makes a triangle shape. Your index fingers and your thumbs are touching and do them like that... they're fucking a killer.
