If he can bring his A game he can pull the upset...Askari is one of the favourites to win so even if Book brings his A game it'll be a close battle

naah...The favourites are Man Down, Dissizit and Askari but they all have a tough road ahead of them

Which battle this round appeals the most to you as a reader?

All of them are close ones apart from The Nomad vs Dissizit imo. No disrespect to him I haven't really seen what he has to offer vs big names...but if i were to pick one i'd go with Askari Vs Black Book

This tourney was operated under a random draw, rather than a seeded set-up. Do you think this has aided or harmed the tourney?

This was a fresh idea and I think it made all participants feel more involved. I prefer it this way cause anyone is given a chance to go far and prove what they got...We've seen some nice battles to so i can't complain

Another solid tourney run under the belt for OSKAR. MAN DOWN stands out as the favourite to him, although ILLoKWENT was the favourite last round so lets see if this tournament can keep bring up the surprises.




Diss, in a tourney momentum can be a big factor, and you just white-washed the reigning rookie of the year. Whats your views on that battle?

It was good bout I think Obey had some nice material but ain't put his clever'ness to the max. S/O to Bey tho.

In: The Nomad, you battle a guy who is probably perceived as the tourneys weakest remaining battler. Does this add pressure to you to succeed?

Nah not close to alil pressure, im just tryna do better than my last drop.. thats my formula each round, hope he brings his A+ game But I stopped sleeping on dudes along while ago.

Regardless of who wins from this point on, your path to the title will be a difficult one. Do you feel like this tourney has been a coming of age for the new era battlers?

Yea for sure, I feel like this is def a GC for the NewEra and throwing some old heads in it made it better to prove ourselves even tho some no shows took place.

Finally, has anyone who you didnt consider a heavyweight before this tourney, been able to change your mind?

I mean everyone stepping up but two names that stuck out to me was Wonderbred & Bleu .. I seen drops from them that exceeded their usual but I still see dudes climbing I got 2 other names they're well on they way I'll just keep them anonymous cos they already know what they need to do.

You get the feeling that Dissizit is silently positioning himself to take this over-due title. While the spotlight has shined elsewhere, Diss has been able to solidly progress through the tournament. So while GRizzEAT, Rican, ILLoKWENT & MAN DOWN might be the names on peoples mouths during the first half of the tournament, Diss might well be the last.
