I never get sick from hangovers (or booze in general) just severe anxiety, as is my current status. I can drink 3/4 of a 70cl bottle of spirits fairly easily (rum usually) but physically I feel the same as if I'd had just 4 or 5 pints.

The worst I ever had was first night in Ibiza; we'd partied before a left, dropped a few pills, drank on the plane, arrived and had to wait on our rooms so drank all day (essentially a full 24 hours), slept 6pm-11pm and woke up genuinely terrified of everything, shaking constantly, hot and cold flushes etc. Started doing that hallucinating shit in between bouts of nightmares/sleep paralysis. That was fucking horrible, but more a come down than anything.

Other than that most hangovers are the same for me. I drink 4-5 times some weeks so they're not as bad as they have been now, developed a tolerance as it were. I can still function with a hangover - I went to work today for instance - but the anxiety never leaves.
