Yeah pretty much exactly like that. At first, it was blatantly cheating. Check out how many times Street, DMK, UNKNOWN ARTIST and Mayneak check out battles from STRONTIUM.

After a while though, and the rise of MSN, it was more so actually asking for a fair vote, whilst blatantly breaking the rules. Illimit, Olde English, WarTank and others would drop a vote if you asked them to, but then again there are plenty of people who'd vote for you blindly, which is why it was such a major rule break. Nick would be another one. Me and Nick would vote on each other's shit all the time, win or lose, but we'd talk about the battles through MSN so it was a clear violation.
