I know im new here and sht so mfers probably gonna think this is extra asf lol but a lot of the votes i see flying around are atrocious asf! I know that heaps of the actual amazing battlers on this site are barely motivated to battle anymore let alone vote so the votes are all left to the people who are actively battling like Jacob the dumdum etc but it doesnt make sense to me that, great battlers/battles are being decided by people who cant comprehend the bars. I know this issue used to be offset by voters with high voting power but they vote less now then probably ever. 3vil vs kiwi was a hot battle, Jacobs vote litterally said - "I dont know what either person was saying" and proceeded to give them both 3's lol

My question is should there be a universal voting numbering system or something? 1 - dogshit, 4 - basic multies, basic punches, 7- good multies, good punches 10 - flawless multies punches etc and if votes like jacobs pop up they just get insta deleted lol

The numbers dont signify anything though? I'm saying like universally each number signifies a certain level that the verse has reached . So when u vote some one a 7 - it means they had good punches and good multies. 6 might mean good multies but not great punches etc. Each number signifies something then it becomes easier to ascertain when ppl are leaving horse sht votes

Unfortunately the people most likely to drop suspect votes are also the ones who either wouldn't read an explanation of what the numbers signify, or simply wouldn't understand it. It also doesn't count for a lot of really subjective or contextually-dependent things about a verse (i.e. doing very well with a difficult scheme, or being extremely funny despite lacking punches in the strictest sense). Tbh the numbers themselves are extremely irrelevant, its who the vote is for that has the only real impact.

I'm more interested to know who tf these talented battlers are.

For the most part Jacob the dumdum basically decides who wins and loses battles but doesn't know how to battle at all. I'm right there with you on that. My battle with H1Z1 was ight. He called that shit a 5/8 split. I don't cre about losing. But I didn't feel I got my ass beat that bad.

@CrownKingTobe yeah the voting can be a little sketchy sometimes, but as Kiwi said the main point is the decision of who won the actual battle.. The rating numbers on the voting system now is pretty simplistic without too much detail so it boils down to the comprehension of the voter.

That's something that can't be avoided. When people join the site their awareness of the elements in a battle verse has to develop before they can make judgements based on them. Also the preference of voters plays a part just as their motive to vote does.

Some people will vote for the credits, some will vote for their buddies, some will vote to get a vote in return. The issue with votes that deserve to be deleted have to be obvious. Something like a 10 - 1 vote that isn't explained would be cause for deletion imo. A vote with comments that express hatred or retaliation would also be a cause for deletion.

Updating the voters guide thread could be the best means to resolve the issue you're expressing, but the distribution of that thread to new and less experienced members needs to be controlled also. It would be cool if short videos to explain these basics to members were implemented the way Dono has done to explain different mechanics of battle verses.

I tried to create a number system just now and realized pretty quickly it wont work lmao all I know is people will inevitably lose battles due to the majority of voters being pretty stank at battling themselves at this point and all the talented battlers dont really vote, probably because theyve gotten sick of sifting through stank battles in the past
