Question

If you use a word in one tense are you allowed to use it another tense.

For example, if I were to rhyme these multi’s
Doom Mask
Doomed Past

Would that be rhyming the same word over and over again.

imo that would constitute a repetition instead of a rhyme. Even the same prefix can be too repetitive, i.e. if I rhymed SUPERMAN with SUPER TANNED.

I'd say so yes.

I've seen it done in creative ways before so I'd say do it.

But doom mask/doomed past

That ain't gonna fly
