Unofficial Battle League Ideas / Signups
 

Hey fam. Wanted to take the initiative to fuel more “Important” battles than just random ones, which should theoretically bring more attention to he site if each battle has more hype (think of ufc promotions.

So I’m gonna do an unofficial battle league. Split into two tiers.

Tier 1 being Heavyweights and Light heavyweights.
Tier 2 being Middleweights and under.

Battles would be posted at the end of each week (EST) and would be 8 lines each.

Any suggestions, or people interested in this idea?

And just as some notes.

Tier would be determined via vet members opinions, titles, impact on site, etc.

Somone would move up a tier if on a 3 battle win streak.

Someone would move down a tier if on a 3 battle loss streak.


Fights would be randomized. So using a number generator to pick who fights who.

If someone already fought someone more than twice in a row they would be exempt.

No issues with this from me, anything that increases activity and incentivises battling is good. I'm fully booked for the next couple of weeks I think but after that I'd be keen for a spot in this.

I've gotta give Dizz respect. Love anything that adds importance to non-tournament battles, especially as it seems like the site has decided seasonal rankings and battles aren't really worth anything.

I would want in on this, 100%.

Could this be tied in with some PPVs to give those clashes more weight than just one off battles? Or just have weekly cards with the fixtures and predictions for the upcoming battles, just to keep building hype and prestige.

always down for battles man . good stuff. just that i am already done with over 80 lines till now since last month and still gotta send 16 to cosovic and also looking at the upcoming spring tourney along with managing the track tourney lol so i got a lot on my plate and not in the area where i would be in the right head space to battle in the arena as much as i want to.

Was gonna have monthly unofficial PPV for this. Every week I’m gonna post the weeks cards and hype up every battle, and post predictions etc. So basically I’m gonna do both. Put you up btw.
