Clarifying rules

Recently there's been a lot of people doing things or asking for things to be done without being aware of the rules that apply. Here is a quick reminder to everyone of some of the site's rules:

Swaying: While a battle is open nobody is allowed to make threads or posts about the content of that battle. If you think someone is being robbed, encourage more educated people to vote. If you think someone's bars are especially terrible, wait until afterwards to bring it up. If you think someone is biting, contact me and/or another staff member privately. DO NOT MAKE A BITING ACCUSATION IN A FORUM POST. From now on I may infract anyone that does so for swaying.

Vote deletion: RULE made a thread outlining the criteria for getting votes deleted. Read it. To reiterate, you can't get a vote deleted just because you disagree with the explanation or think it looks uneducated or 'wrong'. Only clear hate votes will be removed. If you think someone is hate voting you, but your only proof is "we don't really get on", that's your fault for not blocking them.

Recycling: You are not allowed to reuse bars you've previously used in text in another text battle, and the same for audio. There are some rules around recycling between text and audio, but they're confusing and tbh it's probably easier to just not recycle anything.

Thank you, please actually read this and take it on board, if I don't have to deal with all this stuff it will save me a whole lot of time that I can then use to do things that are actually positive like run tournaments.

I don’t mean to question staff n shit, but if a voter says some completely whack but it’s not a hate vote, does it still apply for deletion? Like if a nigga said one MF had better punchlines but didn’t have any punchlines at all.

Looking at that faggot @Bnas and some other Mf’s on here

Unless what they said makes it clear they didn't read the battle (i.e. talking about punches in a topical) then no; however if someone's voting is found to be consistently terrible I will be lowering their VP moving forward.
