IIAM (0-6) Here's what we're doing: Since we've been plagued by no-shows and people both explicitly and implicitly quitting the league, we're going to shorten up the season. There's no use just sitting idly by for another month while people collect no-show wins and losses. So, this week, we're going to have only the active battlers left and we're going to have 1 last week to finalise the playoff picture. Because of this, we're going to shake up the playoff format a bit. Rieper and Kiwi are going to battle for the top seed, loser gets the second seed. Hulk is going to be the third seed, and the fourth seed will be determined as follows: Saaxx and Wolf King battle first with a short deadline, the winner faces 2FUEL, with the winner of that getting the fourth seed. I'm just giving those guys a last chance to show up again, and even though Saaxx hasn't won yet I think he deserves a fair shake since his participation has been high. Please pay attention to the deadlines listed below, as they are a bit different than usual. ------------------------------------------- All Battles are 8 Lines. The deadline for Saxx vs Wolf King is Thursday, February 27th, at 11:59 PM EST The deadline for the winner of that vs An Dagda and Rieper vs Kiwi is Tuesday, March 3rd, at 11:59 PM EST There is no designated sender or receiver! Good luck all! ------------------------------------------- Week 7 Schedule The Saaxxx Baba vs Wolf King After showing up last week to slam Hulk Flowgan with a loss, Wolf King will look to continue his momentum and propel himself into the playoff wildcard with a victory over Saaxxx. Saaxxx himself has been showing improvement outside of PYW and if he can translate that progress to the league, he might just be a dark horse to go all the way. Look for sparks to fly in this one. Prediction: Saaxxx Baba Winner vs An Dagda Following the outcome of that match, there will be a final match to decide the fourth and final playoff spot. Prediction: N/A Rieper vs Kiwi Peewee Perhaps the one match up that has been most anticipated since the season was announced. Current LBT champ and freshly minted mod goes against the brand new 3x GC champion. Winner takes the top seed in what might prove to be a preview of the finals. It will be interesting to see if both give it their all here or elect to save ammunition for when it matters most.
