Thoughts on the LBA Returning? & AHC Beginning?
 

whats everyones thoughts on the LBA returning in some form and/or the creation of the Audio Heavyweight Championship?

With audio not being as busy as text on here perhaps a bi monthly card would work instead of monthly? i dunno drop your thoughts below.

Would work a lot better for audio for it to be bi-monthly, imo. Gives people more time to write and prepare and leads to better performances, with less excuse for no-shows cause you have plenty of time in advance to say you will/will not show.

Fuck AHC but if LBA had some modicum of prestige, if I had a co promoter, I'd be down to run it.

I'm not sure he was talking about extending the length of the tournament, so having more time to write for an opponent wouldn't be a byproduct of this change.

I think it's a good idea. Until the audio side shows a consistent level of activity, scaling back the number of tournaments seems logical regardless of what kind of tournaments they are.

Definitely up for audio LBA, AHC, ABC, XYZ and so on. :high:

I don't think audio can really sustain two different cards, and given its history I think it would be better to reinstate the LBA (especially since we have a reigning LBA champ so the first month could be the next audio GC vs Bizzy?).
@EtH I know bugger all about the audio side but I'd definitely be willing to help you with the menial work side of it if you want, like keeping everyone aware of deadlines and calculating records etc.

Im tempted to NOT do a AHC anytime soon, as i have something else in the pipeline maybe lol

Aye, also even the reading 'AHC' just doesn't spark any interest lol.

Bring back the LBA though, could be good. Though i would like to see more actual Audio heads taking part rather than it becoming a majority of text heads, if ya get me?

A Kiwi / EtH LBA could work well i think.
