ANNOUNCEMENT: Requesting Votes Be Deleted

Hi all

Just to let you guys know about a policy change regarding votes on battles

We (the mods) have had a LOT of requests to delete votes on there battles for reasons such as: We're beefing, they dont like me, they always vote against me etc etc

This had led to some very close calls with battle results being changed / nearly being changed as a result.

So to keep it fair we will ONLY be deleting votes of the following reasons:
  • Clear hate vote
  • Clear uneducated / spam vote
  • If the voter was in a main crew with one of the battlers within the last week (7 days)
  • If both battlers agree to have a vote removed

I say main crew above because i know there are some concept crews (Full House, And Then There Were None) etc just for mutis.

IF you dont want someone to vote on your battles for a legitimate reason, use the BLOCK feature provided.

If the person in question is unblockable (mod / FVC) it will be looked at case by case by RULE or X as these people are unblockable due to there integrity and knowledge, therefore it would need to be a compelling reason.

Please read and understand this as any requests to delete votes will NOT be granted if they do not fall into the reasons given above.

If you wish to block someone but continue viewing there forums posts, you can do so like this:

Just to be clear, this isnt aimed at any one person. Ive had maybe 6 or 7 people in the last few weeks request vote deletions.

That's cool but Rai clearly hate voted me in the tag so if you could delete that cheers.

Maybe fvc shouldnt be unlockable. Especially in it's current iteration. There have been multiple complaints about the quality of the FVC lately.

I noticed my vote was deleted on a recent battle. No big deal to me; it didn't affect the outcome. A Mod deleted it so I'm not going to question it much. Right now, though, all I can think is, "What's the point of voting?" What if my vote had decided the battle and deleting it because one emcee feels some type of way changed the outcome? Why should I waste my time voting- if the person I didn't vote for is having it deleted?

Anyways, I guess this new announcement addresses that with stricter guidelines for vote deletion. However, if my vote is getting deleted upon request; I think some of these other, mysteriously-just-joined-the-site-a-day-ago votes need to be looked at under more scrutiny.

I'm jus' Saiyan.

“Integrity and Knowledge”

I’ll believe it when I see it.

@RULE i don't mind hate votes lol. I actually encourage it towards me. Shows how quick people are to get booty hurt lol. I'll request it if it's like you said somebody that has either voted then joined my crew or someone that was in my crew and left then voted. I feel like that would be some strange shit.
