When posting a verse, you must vote on a battle.
 

Idea: when posting your verse, a battle that needs votes will pop up and you must vote on it in order to send/reply to a battle. The battle that appears wouldn’t be random, but would be a battle with low votes / that’s about to end etc. What do you guys think? I will even code it @X

Yeah but then again you have the character limit on it which makes people actually type something.

I think voting should be obligatory.

I thought about this before, it's worth taking another look at the voting and credits system. I changed the credits system when activity was low to help increase activity.
