E-mail blast
I feel like there's a way to export every member's e-mail into some big ass list and send out an automated e-mail blast to those emails, telling them whats changed and to come back etc etc
Just a thought. I know there's a lot of dead accounts/multis but you gotta imagine 100's of emails will reach their intended targets |
Mass emailing they call it but if we could do this, that’ll be lit
|
This is a no-brainer and if the site was under competent ownership this would be happening very regularly.

Its not a hated or boycotted term
It's just jargon. lol You're speaking to a marketing guy here |
@Student can you do this?

You may be the marketing guy, but I'm the guy who creates the tools that allow you to do it. |
I don't know if you're trolling or just flat out lying to win a debate
In fact there's marketing sites expanding on the definition and even a WikiHow that teaches you how to 'Email Blast'.. They don't use 'Mass Email' the Wikihow refers to it as an Email blast Sendgrid, campaignmonitor, ThriveHive I've only seen 1 link on the first page of Google results that says to avoid calling it an Email blast. And another link saying to avoid doing email blasts completely Is it less professional sounding? Definitely. But it's just jargon. There is no negative stigma attached to the phrase besides the snobby people (very few) who view it this way You may be the guy who creates the tools, but I'm the marketing guy. |
Yeah, I wasn't talking about the use of the words, just that the practice of mass spamming is no longer considered to be a good business practice.
From previous comments you've made on the site, I take your marketing approach to be more Jake Paul than Apple. |
