Vaunted Gauntlet Event Sign-Ups
Welcome to the Vaunted Gauntlet. This will be a 5 participant Gauntlet style Tournament brought to you by myself and @ Tyrant.
Here's how it works: The 4 and 5 seed will face each other to kick it off. Whoever wins that battle will take on the 3 seed. Winner of that faces the 2 seed, and the winner of that will face the 1 seed. Lastly, the winner of that battle is the Champion. The Champion will receive 100 Credits from me, MINUS the amount that they bid in the beginning. Bids are explained below.
How is seeding determined? Once we’re all signed up, each participant will PM me a bid (number from 0-100). Whoever has the lowest bid will be seeded 5th, 2nd lowest seeded 4th, and so on, with the highest bidder getting the 1st seed. If you win the Tournament, your prize depends on what you bid. The formula is 100 Credits minus your bid. So if you had bid 40 and you win, you will receive 60 credits. I would like to make it clear you are not bidding your credits. It is just a bid system to determine seeding and your prize.
Why? This allows contestants to make a choice before the event pops off. Giving yourself an easier road to the finals by bidding a large amount will lower your potential payout. Whereas bidding very low will give you a longer road to the championship, but a bigger payday. If you think you've got what it takes, sign up below. Everyone is welcome!
