Your favorite Eminem album compared to NAS

What's your favorite Eminem album and how does it compare to Nas's Illmatic?

I'm not sure about specific album. MMLP2 has the most songs I thought were really good on it, but I hate the songs that I didn't really like.

Illmatic is incredible, and I don't think Eminem has the sort of music to match it at all.

Well thats a stretch.... A single album from Em might not be able to compete but he certainly has some great music scattered across his albums that can certainly match the standard set by Nas in Illmatic! I personally think the Slim Shady LP CAN match up to it but that's subjective and a lot of people dont agree.
Songs I think are good enough to be compared:

Without me
The Way I am
Stan
Without me
When I'm gone
Like Toy Soldiers
97 Bonnie and Clyde
Guilty conscience
Cleaning out my closet
Role Model
Sing for The Moment
Still Dont Give a Fuck
Beautiful

So, what do you think?

The production was trash in revival sure, but there were lots of good songs lyrically. Nothing Grammy worthy but still, doesn't have to be award worthy to be considered good!
I loved: Believe, River, Remind me, Framed, Offended, Heat, Arose, Like Home, Bad Husband, Chloraseptic.
And after the album came:
Chloraseptic remix, and Caterpillar and both were fire!

Slim Shady LP is the best Eminem album by far, creatively and content-wise that had the most to offer, close second is Marshall Mathers LP and steadily goes down after that with Infinite somewhere in between Eminem Show and Encore.

Yea the old eminem was better, his not that good now days imo... if thats even him still, i think the real him may have been killed an it is now a clone... im 4 real..

also nas was ok, however i dont know, he never really had the hype, he was like the first mumble rapper in a way, some of his songs i recall when i use to listen to him a bit sounded stupid because it sounds like his just trying to rap big words together without saying anything.. he is one of the most boring rappers i must say, his songs are just boring, eminem at least can tell awesome crazy stories... over all i think eminem is the real better rapper here between the two by far... because nas fails to make music with the emotinal/hype aspect Eminem does, all eminem doesnt have that nas does better is the lyricism which nas isnt even that good at imo.. my vote is for em & em.
