Some shit that needs to stop:
Concepts that include the word "round", so that if you read it one way, it refers to a "round" as in a battle verse, and read the other way, it refers to a round object, regardless of whether or not that object would normally be called a "round".
For example, Rohaan used this in the most recent scheme tournament: He made a 'world of a difference' cuz he had me 'Tighten his round' like the moon that 'KEEPS REVOLVING AROUND SATURN'! [Source] Who would normally refer to a moon as a "round"? Many other texters have also perpetrated this crime against the English language. I am sick of it. |
Agreed. Rican had one ages ago where he called zeroes "rounds" which always annoyed me.

Guilty...I used a bagel reference, part of a whole jewish concept...yeah, the url battlers using any round object in a bar is starting to drive me nuts.
---------- Post added at 06:22 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:17 AM ---------- I usually try to make it a point to not write anything that wouldnt work if you said it aloud....but the whole round thing has been used all over battle rap for a couple years ago now...its widespread accepted for some reason. Starting to get really played though |
That, and circle

Most Time its Used To Mean Bullet or Amunition of Sorts...or Like 'Round 1' of a Fight. But i Must Admit I Hate the Personification of the Word to be So Loosely Used to Define 'Anything' Round... Its 2k17 Come On Now...
