N. Korea's denuclearization.

Would the denuclearizing of N. Korea destabilize the world economy? Discuss.

No. ...

Depends on how it's brought about. The U.S could denuclearize North Korea by levelling the place with bombs, but would the conflict be limited to only the United States and North Korea? Depending on who else gets involved and how long the conflict lasts, it could adversely impact world economy.

That sounds more like nuclearization to me.

No. Their arsenal is paltry. Do they have a hydrogen bomb? Probably not. If they do, do they have a delivery system we should be worried about? Probably not. Is it ok to fear a wild card? He'll yeah, who knows. Just chill in your reclining seats and watch the show.

N. Korea are armed with (estimated)well over 50 nuclear weapons. Including a still-in-work hydrogen bomb. The cyber forces in N. Korea have been emboldened in recent years, and have gone to great lengths to strengthen the N. Korean economy. This money, in the majority of these instances, is spent almost solely on the N. Korean weapons program. You've been conditioned by minimalism. People minimize the threat that N. Korea poses, because they don't want N. Korea to be a threat. U.S. intelligence forces have made this mistake, as well.

Do you think North Korea would happily submit as those bombs begin falling or are you drastically overconfident in the ability of a US surgical strike on north korea? The moment the US starts "leveling the place with bombs" are you so sure kim jong wouldnt just detonate his armament wherever he could? Resulting in mass casualties not even considering the mass death leveling the place with bombs would provide. Denuclearization diplomatically isn't a foreseeable plan either to me. Kim jong is too unstable. Likely gonna end in some kind of combat situation be it small or large/soon or far from now.

We just need to nuke the fuck out of NK. Wars actually quite profitable for those selling the weapons and such. Nuclear fall out could cause some problems though.

Was there something in what I said that suggests I think North Korea would happily submit to bombardment by the US? I'm sure they will have some kind of response, and that South Korea, Japan and Guam would probably get the worst of it.

The countries surrounding North Korea are all major players in the world economy...China could destroy our national economy instantly if they wanted to. North Korea is the size of Pennsylvania....any nuclear attack on North Korean soil would undoubtedly have negative effects on the borderng nations, most of whom you dont want to piss off. The US better have all of their support before doing anything.
