Topical Battles?
 

I see there is no subforum for Topical Battles which is sad because topical battles have a lot of potential to blow up. Other sites have dedicated sub-forums for such topical battles like Rap Royalty, rapbattles and so on.

Im talking about battles where we are either;-

A- Given a topic
B- Presented a picture

This would do numbers. Im surprised how no one has tapped into this idea yet. Im willing to help out if someone takes the initiative.

It's been done in the past and we have multiple Topical champions. It's just been dead as a section for the last few years. There hasn't been a lot of interest unfortunately.

Yeah. The lack of interest is the reason topicals are dead. That's definitely the reason. Read no more into the situation.

There has never been a degree of interest in topical high enough to necessitate a dedicated subforum. Mind you, this shouldn't negate you from doing topical battles. If you'd like to do topical battles, challenge someone to one, and use the text box or cypher box in order to complete the battle. There doesn't need to be a forum for this.

In fact, there was a forum for this. And no one used it. Except Eth.

Lmfao are you kidding me? In one round of a tournament I got more verses dropping than was involved in the entire text GC that you won.

The topical section for a while, in the subforum, was easily the biggest part of the site.
