Seems to be a large international presence on this site. Where's everyone from? I just want to know because that does impact the bars and the voting due to slang, customs, and regional references in metaphors.

Yeah? I'm from the opposite place more or less, horizontally and vertically.

Edit: Never mind, it's not where I thought that it was. I am in the Panhandle.

Is England considered a separate country, or has it been totally subsumed into the UK?

I'm from Staten Island originally. Now upstate. My folks have a place in Cape Canaveral that I go to occasionally. Might have bumped into babs at publix before. Got my last tat in cocoa beach.

It's separate, the UK is formed of four separate countries. Depends what you refer to though. If it's something specifically to do with England then usually you don't include the rest of the UK.
