Deleting votes without expo??
 

Hey maybe that's why the hot list section has zero battles. You got idiots deleting votes cause no expo? Lmao my battle just hits hotlist with 5 votes and xercius deleted 2 votes. That shit dont make sense and who cares about expo thats my choice if I want to drop a huge comment. Just another thing that kills the site. :fyou:

Explaining your vote is very important both to tell whether you know what you're talking about & hopefully help the battlers with your critique.

You don't need a huge expo if you can explain well and know what you're talking about. Having well explained votes isn't killing the site at all.. It's one of the things that helps it flourish. It helps people elevate their game & understand the craft better on both ends.

I didnt say preferring a written out vote is ruining site . I said that deleting 2 out of 5 votes because of a shorter comment is.

I see what you're saying in this thread, but for one thing, the hotlist section doesn't need to be poppin' for the site to thrive. I actually don't think a completely empty hotlist hurts the site much at all. Also, in addition to what Bleu said, the expos help determine if people are actually reading the battles. Of course, you could still avoid reading the battle and fabricate a short, generic expo... But the more specific an expo is, the more likely a voter has read it.

GB FV VB FYL. Hopefully someone takes the time to go and delete the credits too, otherwise it may be a lost cause. Maybe if there was a bi-weekly scan where a mod goes through and deletes any votes like this and removes any battle-won credits, people would take this seriously. I think some of the top ranked LB battlers still don't always read or listen when they see a huge difference in the ranks.
