Dusty Finish The Dusty Finish is the nickname given to a specific ending to a wrestling match in which one wrestler appears to have scored a win only to have the decision reversed, often on some small technicality. Although Eddie Graham is usually credited with inventing the finish, it is named after Dusty Rhodes because Rhodes was famous for invoking the finish in his own matches when he was a wrestler/booker. Other versions have the match decision reversed in the days following the match. The reversal can also be declared by other authority figures in the wrestling organization. Reasons for Use The Dusty Finish is often used to help put a wrestler over as a sympathetic figure by having him win a hard-fought match only to see him screwed out of the win. It can also be used to build up the hype for a rematch between the two wrestlers. The finish can have a negative effect on fans, especially if used frequently, as they may begin believing that something like a title change might never happen. The Dusty Finish worked in the territorial days of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), when the NWA champion travelled to various territories to face the local favorite, and the fans could only see the matches by either going to see them live or on local television. With the progress of cable television and wrestling matches being seen in larger portions of the country, more and more fans began to recognize the Dusty Finish when it occurred, thus another reason for it to be used less. |

I, personally, believe that the statement used as the introductory centerpoint for the discussion that is meant to be partaken of in this thread contains a semiapproximate equilibrium of non-deliberate deceit and truth. Nonetheless, there are discriminatory undertones present in it which need to be rectified. As I possess advanced degrees in Psychology and Social Justice, combined with a graduate study program where I published multiple approved dissertations on Tumblr, I believe that I am qualified to bring attention to these unfortunate details.
Higher education in the United States has been traditionally dominated by white males. The nomenclature of the crew alone implies a sense of white privilege and male privilege, which is only further reinforced by the fact that most members of the crew are at least strongly believed by most to be white males. The fact that this crew is organized through the medium of the internet demonstrates that it is intended as a deliberate counterpoint to face-to-face socialization, the core of the Social Justice movement; it can thus only be inferred that its members and leaders are against social justice. Further evidence for this claim can be found through the fact that this crew has "Leaders," "Captains," and "Members." As all Social Justice Warriors are well aware of, all people with the obvious exception of the SAWCM pigs are equal; the fact that this crew is not only divided into membership tiers based on social constructs such as respect and status, but actually engages itself in deference to these vile chauvinists by allowing them to hold the highest statistical positions in this crew, is another irrefutable proof that Higher Education is, at its very core, an organization dedicated solely to discrimination. While its leaders are the topic of discussion, one can only draw attention to their self-appointed usernames used on LetsBeef to demonstrate their evil racism and sexism even further. One leader, Babylon, has clearly chosen in his name in an attempt to offend Rastafaris, who use this term to refer to the predominantly-SAWCM capitalistic society that oppresses people such as otherkin and our headmates. Another, Rant, has obviously named himself after what SAWCMs do when their privilege is forcibly checked or their disgusting, discriminatory beliefs are exposed as the ideological scum that they truly are. The last, UNKN0WN, has clearly chosen his username in an attempt to marginalize subcultures, lifestyle choices, and groups of people he wishes to discriminate against or has personal issues with. I therefore suggest that we protest against it in such respected mediums as tumblr.com, the undergraduate postmodernistic Sociology journal of our local community college, and workplace sensitivity training seminars. This disgusting organization cannot be allowed to stand. I am already calling the SPLC, my Tumblr friends, Kim Jong-un, and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant to inform them of these people.
