Replace Video Battles with Tinychat Battles
 

tbh its better....we can organize the shit so that its a live environment with judges and an audience ...everybody can vote

battles close the same day since they're live

its like a KOTD/URL event.. in fact KOTD used to have tinychat battles and niggas like Thesaurus and Dumbfoundead would be in those tinychat shits all the time

what ya'll think? video section is under utilized. it'll make the site look 'cleaner' if we do away with it completely

It's actually not a bad idea. Considering the current video battle links don't work anyways.

The only problem is getting bodies into tinychat as voters/judges. As dead as LB is right now, there'd be a hot ass battle in there and only 1 person to judge... If it wasn't so dead right now, it'd be plausible.

I like the idea of more battles taking place in the tinychat, and it is something that Noble and I have been attempting to put together. However, I dislike the idea of doing away with video battles entirely.

the thing is, Video Battles just add 'clutter' to the site

if you wanna make a site appear more active, you do away with what isnt being used

that means getting rid of certain boards on the forums, and certain sections of the site

it'd 'clean' the site up in a way.

It'd be different if the links worked.. Then I'd say keep them. If you go to someones profile who has video battles and click on it, it does nothing. You can't see the video battle.. so why not have it take place in tinychat, maybe even record it and post the battles to a thread specific for Video Battles.
